Located merely a mile away from Times Square, this five-star hotel in New York City is especially popular among couples who visit the city.

And for good reasons as well, staying in the Equinox, you have access to a modern neighborhood with a variety of shopping spots, art galleries and museums, and restaurants as well.

It is also located quite close to all the major airports like the Newark International Airport.

Moving on to the services, we experienced some of the best and most efficient services, the room was sparkling clean, not to mention very well designed and decorated, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was disinfected and had great amenities like a shower with good quality toiletries, a comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, a smart TV (though we never really got to it because there was so much else to do in the hotel), a minibar, etc.

The restaurant was also great and the pools were clean and quite fun, as well as the gym.

The only issue that I experienced was that the spa costs were a little out-there for me, but then again, it is a luxury hotel, the experience, however, was lovely.

So we can consider it one of the most expensive hotels in New York, providing top-notch services.

1 Hotel Central Park

With a beautiful 3-story living green wall on the exterior of the building and the rooms being nature-themed, this is yet another luxury hotel in New York City that provides a relaxing experience, allowing guests to indulge in the beauty of nature.

With the Empire State Building merely 1.5 miles away from the hotel, it also has various other attractions and eating spots within a walking distance as well as the subway, and the airports are located quite near as well.

Personally, the décor and the nature-theme was my style and I felt very comforted by the greenery, making my stay very exciting. Other than its beautiful theme, the room also had great amenities like a comfy bed, a TV, a beautiful shower, a coffee station and toiletries.

One thing I specifically liked was that it is pet-friendly and that makes it great for people who don’t want to leave their furry friends back home and can bring them along.

There is also a 24-hour fitness center and a restaurant, Jams, which is a personal favorite as its décor was quite lovely and even has an open kitchen as well as great food.

With clean rooms and good service, this five-star hotel in New York City is a great choice especially for those who love nature, it is a great place to unwind amongst the greenery.

It is also situated in a prime location, making major art galleries and museums accessible through the subway, taxis, or even on foot.

Le Méridien

Situated very near to Central Park, this hotel has a very unique interior décor and design to its room and the building in general.

The rooms here are slightly smaller than the other hotels on the list but are very well planned out and the design reached out to me.

The Broadway Theatre and Central Park are at walking distance from the hotel along with various other attractions nearby as well.

The New York La Guardia Airport is only 6 miles away and other airports are also at a small distance.

The best feature for me has to be its interior design, I cannot emphasize enough on how aesthetically pleasing the room’s interior is and all the elements of the room are complementary and follow the vibrant and cosmopolitan New York style and design.

The bed is comfortable and the shower is spacious and has a great vibe to it, the minibar is also great and the room also includes a TV.

The rooftop bar is a great place to hang out and has a delightful view of the city that you can enjoy while you enjoy your favorite drink or a meal.

If you plan to visit New York, you must consider staying in this luxury hotel in New York City.

Aside from the stunning view of Central Park, the hotel boasts a great gym, nightclub, and helpful staff who help make the experience convenient and pleasant.

The Pierre, A Taj Hotel

Located near to the Central Park Zoo, in an area full of luxury boutiques and shopping destinations, The Pierre offers white-glove luxury service to its guests and is one of the 7 star hotels in New York City.

It was opened in 1930 and has witnessed various social events and parties ever since. It also boasts its Forbes Five Star that it has received as well as its position in the ‘Most Expensive Homes in the World, 2006’ list by Forbes.

The hotel has also appeared in various series and films throughout the years as well as many novels.

As for our experience, it was stunning, the room, apart from being clean, was so beautifully decorated and it was incredibly spacious.

The staff were helpful and efficient and made both checking in and out smooth and hassle-free for us.

The view of Central Park makes the whole set-up stand out even more and alongside the TV, there was also a music player in the room which was a personal favorite.

The restaurant and bar also served delicious dishes and drinks and many other restaurants and stores were spread across the streets in walking distance.

Another thing that I noticed was that this hotel is very kid-friendly and if you visit with your children, they would have plenty to do and won’t get bored due to the various play areas and activities.

Sixty SoHo

Situated in Manhattan’s Soho district, this hotel has a unique décor and boasts its modern contemporary-styled rooms and restaurant.

Tribeca Park and New York City Fire museum are in very close proximity and the Empire State Building is hardly 2 miles away.

The on-site restaurant Bistro Leo serves French cuisine and there are two lounges namely the Butterfly Lounge and the A60 seasonal rooftop lounge for guests to spend their evenings in.

Right off the bat, I noticed the blackout curtains and very good quality ones too, and I was delighted because they help people like me, who have trouble sleeping in light, take naps in the afternoon.

The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and beautiful and contained good toiletries. The staff were very friendly and helpful and that made the stay even more enjoyable.

Other than the Bistro Leo, there was also a variety of eating options nearby and we experienced various kinds of cuisine during our stay.

Another great thing was that the street that it’s situated in wasn’t as busy and loud, which made it very comfortable for me.

One downfall has to be that pets are not allowed in the hotel, even with extra charges, but otherwise, the facilities are fabulous.Still,this one of the best luxury hotel in Manhattan.

The Ritz-Carlton New York

Situated in Midtown close to Central Park, The Ritz-Carlton is a luxury hotel that offers a proper luxury cosmopolitan experience for its visitors.

It is location gives its visitors access to various fashion stores and fine dining experiences within a walking distance of the hotel. You can also access the subway close by and the airports are also within a small distance.

The room was spacious and sanitary, the view from the window was breathtaking, especially at night and due to the Central Park being so close, we were able to take walks there often.

The room itself has beautiful décor and the overall ambiance of the building was great. I was a bit disappointed by the fact that free Wi-Fi was not available but other amenities like the shower and toiletries as well as the air conditioning were good.

There was also a well-equipped fitness center and spa facilities available.

We enjoyed some great local cuisine at the on-site restaurant Contour, as well as a brunch spot that was recommended to us by a staff member, which was great also.

The staffs were very helpful and friendly. And though the price was higher for the room with the view of Central Park, trust me, it’s worth it.

Lotte New York Palace

Situated near to St Patrick’s Cathedral and the Museum of Modern Art, this luxury hotel in New York City brings together vintage elegance and modern luxury together in its rooms and overall interior.

Offering huge rooms as well as lavish suites, this hotel is perfect not only for leisure trips but business trips as well.

Various tours are also conducted for the guests for them to experience places that have appeared in popular shows and films.

The staff were very friendly, extremely helpful as well, and I felt very comforted by their presence and assistance through the whole check-in and check-out process.

The room was very spacious and clean, and I specifically enjoyed the décor and layout of the bathroom, as well as the high-end toiletries.

The bed was comfortable and there was a TY, a minibar and air conditioning in the room.

We could only eat Brunch at the restaurant on-site, Villard, but it was not an issue as there were plenty of dining options at walking distance along with various shopping and cultural experiences too.

A fitness center and spa facilities were available, however, to my disappointment, pets were not allowed.

Baccarat Hotel & Residences

Right across from the Museum of Modern Art, this luxury hotel in New York is an architectural wonder with modern décor and beautifully designed rooms.

There are various museums, shopping spots and dining options nearby as well as parks and public transport. The interior is bright and has a modern vibe to it, it is very aesthetically pleasing.

This experience was almost as if we were in a hotel in France itself, from the service to the cuisine, everything was so elegant and delightful.

The staff were super helpful and the room was stunning, and I loved the lighting in it, it made the interior look even more pleasing.

The bed was comfortable, and the shower was spacious and the toiletries were high-quality, there was also a TV, free Wi-Fi and a minibar.

I especially enjoyed the French cuisine at the on-site restaurant, Grand Salon, and there were many other dining options within walking distance.

There is also a pool (stunning, as well), fitness center and spa facilities. I loved how helpful the staff at the front desk were, it made me feel very welcome, and the décor of this whole luxury hotel in New York City is a thing that you must see once in your life.

Conrad Midtown

With a location close to Central Park, Conrad Midtown is a place where you can experience luxury accommodation and all its perks.

Times Square is also hardly a mile away from the hotel and there are various eateries, shopping areas and tourist attractions spread across the streets within walking distance.

I found the stay amazing as the room was very spacious and the bed was arguably one of the best beds I’d ever slept in and the bedding was also so comfortable that I stayed in the bed for a majority of our time, there were also blackout curtains.

The shower, toiletries, TV, minibar and the free Wi-Fi were good. The 24-hour fitness center and the bar were great as well.

You could get a park-view suite, which we weren’t able to book, for a breathtaking view of Central Park from your window.

Overall, the experience was pleasant, with friendly staff and a beautiful room in a convenient location, it is worth the price.

Lowell Hotel

Located near Central Park, this hotel was established in 1927 and was designated as the No.1 Hotel in NYC in several different years as it remains one of the most popular luxury hotels in New York City.

In a neighborhood filled with high-end boutiques and stores alongside various dining spots and popular tourist attractions, the classic elegant décor and luxury treatment provided by the hotel to its guests is memorable.

Our room was spacious and the décor was closer to a classic vintage style, not that I was complaining though, I loved it.

The suite had a fireplace as well, alongside a TV, coffee-maker, a spacious shower and toiletries.

I especially enjoyed the night view of the city from the terrace and the food from Majorelle, the on-site restaurant, was also delightful.

 There is a fitness center available as well for the use of guests. The staff were professional yet friendly and helped make the experience even better.

The NoMad Hotel

Located near Madison Square Park and the Empire State Building, this hotel, with French décor and design, is one of the finest luxury hotels in New York City.

The NoMad Hotel is situated near various dining spots and shopping stores as well as only an mile or so away from famous landmarks like the Grand Central Station and Times Square.

The hotel’s interior is a fusion of modern style with classic Parisian décor and furnishings.

The room was a good size and very well furnished and the style appealed to me and stood out. Besides the TV, minibar and a comfy bed, what I enjoyed the most was the bathroom.

The décor was like none other and the marble work was just so pleasant and I spent a hefty amount of time in the bathtub just enjoying the view from the window.

The staff was very helpful throughout and we dined often at the NoMad restaurant and the food did not disappoint.

A great thing I noted was that it is pet-friendly, hence you can bring your pets without having to pay extra.

The intricate décor, friendly staff and great location make this hotel a place you must visit.
